Did you ever wonder how the North American Fox Grape got it’s name? Many think it comes from the Aesop’s fable about the fox and the grapes but in reality the fox grape got it’s name because it possesses an odor reminiscent of red fox.  Fresh red fox glands have that same foxy grape odor.
